Community Christmas Festival

The NSC's annual event returns this December, featuring a range of free festive activities for all the family to enjoy. 

Date: Saturday 9th December, 10:30am - 3pm

Location: The National Stone Centre, Porter Lane, Wirksworth, Matlock, DE4 4LS

Activities, attractions and performances

Santa's Grotto Experience (Meet and greet with Father Christmas) (10:30am - 3:00pm)

The Search for Santa's Reindeer Trail (10:30am - 3:00pm)

Performance by Ukeswirks Band (11:00am - 12:00pm)

Performance by the BM&W Brass Band (1:30pm - 2:20pm)

Indoor Christmas Market (10:30am - 3:00pm)

Face painting artist (12:00pm - 2:00pm)

Gem Panning (10:30am - 3:00pm)

Important information

Please note that registering your attendance does not mean that you have a reserved place for any activities, all activities will work on a first come first serve basis.

Certain activities will also have a limit on numbers. For example, the Santa's Grotto Experience will be limited to 100 spaces for children.

You will not be asked to present proof of registration on the day of the event.

Why should you register in advance?

Registering is not essential, however, filling out the form allows the NSC to monitor attendee numbers and footfall more effectively ahead of the event.

If you are no longer able to attend, please kindly contact marketing@nationalstonecentre.org.uk. Doing so allows the NSC to stay up to date regarding attendance numbers.
